Daniel Wood Designs is a logo & brand identity service for startup businesses that help position the brand to communicate with a specific audience.
THE STORY BEHIND THE LOGO
After several years I had with my previous logo, I thought it was time for a refresh - It just didn’t really fit my style WHAT-SO-EVER and was something that I couldn’t see reflecting my personality.
The new logo does just that! I’m loud (with my voice) so having everything chunky and bold mimics that aspect. I’m always moving, so tilting the logo and font slightly helps get across the feeling of movement and fast energy I give off.
The choice of colours simply comes down to the fact that every t-shirt I own is either black or white, well not just that, but those are typically my go-to colours, and the complementary gold colour represents my love for old antiques and vintage oddities.
